Missing ART and ART SUPPLIES - REWARD

These items disappeared from my possession 1/12/12, between 2 am and 4 am, east of downtown Olympia.

I am offering a cash reward for the painting and sketchbooks; other items will incur my gratitude but unfortunately are of less importance to me.

UNDERSTAND: I am a working artist. These items are not just my passion and my life in a spiritual sense, but they are my JOB. Whomever has these may as well have taken my car. Whatever their reason for thinking it was OK to have them is NOT OK. But I will hold nothing against them, will not ask questions, and I will not even call the police if the items are returned.

1) Framed original acrylic painting. Looks like this (or at least it did when it left my possession):

The painting's entry on Deviant Art

2) Two sketchbooks, one large, one smaller, both hardcover, one Pro Art (both may be Pro Art brand; the covers are black), containing a wide variety of artwork in my style. Below are some examples of that working style. There will be coffee and possibly other stains on the books as well - because I tend to work a lot while I'm out. Some of the stains may be labeled, dated, or even named. Some stuff will be very scrawly and gestural but most of it will be characters with notes. There may be male characters committing obviously sexual acts with one another - these are not things many people would WANT to see; NO ONE should have these books but myself, so I refuse to apologize!

3) Handmade, unique cane. Slightly beaten up because it is (...was...) my regular walking stick. I am what you call "disabled". I carry a cane due to a prescriptive need for one. I made this one because I find ordinary canes either too heavy or too ugly or both. I had recently patched the damages to it and was preparing for a few days of downtime to repaint it. It looked like this when it was new:

The sketchbooks and some accompanying tiny notepads were in a purse. There is no reward for the purse itself, but it looked like this, only blue, with the icon (now very faded and rather cracked, but still distinct) more centered:

That octopus is one of the mascot characters my studio made; you can only get those tote bags from us and I have a physical record of every one I have sold. Just so that's out on the table.

The purse also contained my prescriptions (I was on the way home from a long journey), all my ID (including my passport) and store cards (two card cases, one green, one silver), a lot of business cards, and some tiny, trading-card sized original paintings in slip cases. The prescriptions included 5/500 hydrocodone in a prescription bottle with my name on it. I don't care if I get those back, but note this as a possible flag that someone may have my other missing items. Olympia area? Selling hydrocodone out of the blue? Might have my art.

Thank you.
